Rotacap Inhaleris a type of medical device (with plastic body) which is prescribed for treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or asthma. It comprises of capsules that contain 200mg of fine dry powder which is administered via inhalation. This dry powder is blended with milk protein based lactose. This dry powder has been formulated by using active ingredient like salbutamol sulphate which is classified under beta 2 adrenoceptor agonists. The absorption of its powder by lungs improves breathing function even when the patient is coughing or suffering from tight chest condition. This medication is not suitable for persons who are allergic to milk protein like lactose and salbutamol sulfate. Adult as well as child patients are prescribed to inhale it for three to four times on regular basis. This inhaler should be used by consulting with doctor and its user should not share this medicine with other patients even though they have similar symptoms. The patient should abstain from using this inhaler in case the patient is experiencing dizziness, swelled skin or skin rashes.
